Dr. Martin Regehly
Managing Director

Martin Regehly studied Physics at University of Ilmenau and at Humboldt-University Berlin. He wrote his diploma thesis about the HDAC instrument onboard the Cassini spacecraft. For this purpose he had worked at German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Berlin und at Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics (LASP) in Boulder, Colorado. In the following he did a doctoral degree at Humboldt-University Berlin about photodynamic cancer therapy. During this time he initiated the foundation of greateyes as a spin-off from the university. Herr Regehly is a laureate of the German contest for young scientists and has been awarded the prize of the Erich F. Bläse foundation.

Manager Development and Production

Michael Menz completed his studies of computer science in September 2006. Since that time he works on the project greateyes. His specialized subjects are signal processing and integrated circuits. He is responsible for development and production in the company greateyes.

Awards and Memberships

greateyes has been conferred with the  Innovation Award Berlin-Brandenburg in December 2010 for the LumiSolarCell System. Read more.
The Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin awarded the spin-off quality seal to company greateyes in 2009.
greateyes is a member of the OptecBB network.
