Imaging and Spectroscopy Applications
The greateyes
Full-Frame CCD matrix cameras can be used as sensitive detectors for Imaging and Spectroscopy in the X-Ray, vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV), ultraviolet (UV), visible (VIS) and near-infrared (NIR) range.
For spectroscopy the cameras can be attached to different kinds of Spectrographs, e.g. Czerny-Turner, Echelle or Littrow types, with imaging or non-imaging purpose. They are also well-suited for many direct imaging application under low-light conditions. Several objective adapters (C-Mount, M42, F-Mount, Minolta-MD) are available which allows to couple different objectives to the camera.
